Thunderstorm Watch Pro keeps an eye on the places you care about. Save up to five ZIPs and receive email when a Severe Thunderstorm Watch starts, changes, or ends.
The free ZIP checker remains available to everyone.
The founder offer
- $29 USD per year, charged annually and automatically renewing until canceled.
- The $29/year founder price continues while the same subscription remains continuously active. If it is canceled or lapses and you subscribe again later, the then-current public price applies.
- Save up to five US ZIP locations.
- Add an optional label such as Home, Parents, School, or Cabin.
- Receive email when a watch starts, changes, or ends for a saved ZIP.
- See each location’s current status, watch expiration, and last check.
- Pause, resume, rename, or delete locations at any time.
- Manage payment details and cancellation through Stripe.
There is no free trial or coupon. Pro covers Severe Thunderstorm Watches only and sends email only—no SMS, push notifications, calls, forecasts, or radar.
How it works
- Enter the email you want to use for Pro.
- Review the Terms and Privacy Policy.
- Pay securely through Stripe.
- Check your email for a one-time sign-in link.
- Add the ZIPs you want to monitor.
Thunderstorm Watch does not receive your full card details.
What Pro can and cannot do
Pro monitors at the ZIP level, not an exact street address. A ZIP can cover a broad area, so always follow alerts issued for your precise location.
Email and web access can be delayed or unavailable. Pro does not replace emergency alerts, warnings, forecasts, radar, or instructions from local authorities. For urgent warnings and instructions, follow weather.gov and local alerts.
Refunds and cancellation
A full refund of the relevant initial or renewal charge is available when the request reaches support@thunderstormwatch.com within seven calendar days after that charge. Requests after that window are not eligible unless applicable law requires otherwise. No prorated refunds are offered after the window.
Canceling through the Stripe billing portal stops automatic renewal and keeps Pro available through the paid period. Cancellation does not itself request a refund. If a renewal payment fails, there is a seven-day billing grace period before monitoring pauses.
Deleting an account is different from canceling renewal. If paid access remains, deletion requires confirmation that the subscription will end immediately. Account deletion does not itself request a refund; contact support before deleting if you want a charge reviewed.
Email only when something changes
Pro email is limited to sign-in, billing, location setup, and watch updates. Buying Pro does not enroll you in a newsletter, daily digest, or marketing sequence. Product email does not use tracking pixels.
